Consider Giving Refund
To Federation's Campaign

The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit offers a way to turn your tax
refund check into an opportunity to
help others.
From now through September, indi-
viduals with incomes above $27,000,
and couples with incomes above
$45,000, will receive a refund check
from the IRS in amounts of up to $300
per person — but in some cases, even
higher.
The Federation suggests that one of
the best places to put those extra dollars
is a gift to Federation's Annual
Campaign. Giving your tax refund to
Federation will help fund more services

to individuals in need, both in metro
Detroit and elsewhere. Also, all new and
increased gifts are being doubled
through the Schostak Family Challenge
Fund for the 2001 Campaign, according
to the Federation.
"This refund money represents an
unexpected opportunity for people to do
the unselfish thing, by making a new or
extra gift to Federation's Campaign,"
said Nancy Grand, a 2001 Campaign
co-chair. "It gives us a better chance to
make sure nobody falls through the
cracks."
