Nelsons To Lead
Tour Of Italy
Rabbi David and Alicia Nelson of
Congregation Beth Shalom are plan-
ning a tour of Jewish Italy for Feb.
17-March 1, 2002.
The tour will highlight the history
of Rome, Florence, Siena, Orvieto
and Assisi. Jewish history will be
explored in Pitigliano, Rome,
Florence and Siena. Shabbat services
will be held at the Sinogoga di Firenze
in Florence.
Lodging will be in historic proper-
ties that have been transformed into
first class hotels. Individual head-
phones will be provided at historic
sites that allow the user to wander
and still hear the guide.

The Nelsons will host a pre-trip
meeting at their Southfield home 7
