Elects Officers

The annual meeting of the Fresh Air
Society and election of officers will
take place 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at
Camp Maas, Ortonville.
Nominated for a first three-year
term as directors are Howard Klausner,
Susan Tapper, Marla Rowe Gorosh,
Sander Gelman and Ronald Charfoos.
Nominated to serve a second three-
year term are Terry Cassels Cooper,
Jeffrey Devries, Daniel Weberman,
Ronald Sollish and Donna Maddin.
Nominated for a one-year term are
Henry Wineman II, president; Ronald
Sollish, vice president; Brian Kepes,
vice president; Barbara Tronstein,
treasurer; Donna Maddin, secretary

Jewish Apartments and Services, with
campuses in Oak Park and West
Bloomfield, has been awarded a grant
from the Jewish Women's Foundation
of Metro Detroit. JAS will use the
money to create a Women's Health
Initiative Program for the residents of
Jewish Apartments and Services.
The Women's Health Initiative
Program will focus on the specialized
health care needs of women. The pro-
gram will work with local hospitals to
provide on-site mammograms.
