SOLOMON ABRAMS, 70, of
Farmington, died June 18.
He is survived by his son and
daughter-in-law, Mitchell and
Madeline Abrams of Corvallis,
Ore.; daughter and son-in-law,

Calif.; sisters and brother-in-law,
Celia and Leonard Raimi of
Franklin, Marion Weisman; five

Detroit, died June 23.
She is survived by her son and

Evelyn Waldman, Adam and Julie
Waldman, Holly and Alex Malone,
Abby and Dewey Johnson; great-
grandchildren, Alexandra, Max,

Nickolas Malone. She was the
beloved wife of the late William
Avrunin.

Farmington Hills, died June 18. She
was the founder
of House of
Blinds and the
co-founder of
Balco
Construction.
Mrs. Balbes
was the second
woman in
Michigan to get
her builders
license. She was
Selma Balbes
a member of
B'nai B'rith.
Mrs. Balbes is survived by her
husband, Henry Balbes; sons and
daughters-in-law, Craig and Tina
Balbes of Farmington Hills, Randy
Balbes of Los Angeles, Barry and
.Pamela Balbes of Franklin; grand-
children, Jennifer, Amy, Jordan,
Alana and Jake Balbes; sister, Betty
Baker; brother-in-law and sister-in-
law, Monty and Sonja Balbes.

ERNEST BERK, 78, former
Detroiter of Miami Beach, Fla.,
died May 26. He was a pharmacist
who graduated from Wayne State
University. He was also a boat
enthusiast, living off the water and
owning a boat for over 40 years.
Mr. Berk is survived by his dear
wife, Mary Jane; daughter, Ronna;
stepson, John; five grandchildren;
aunts, Estelle and Saray Tyner;
cousins, Allen Berk of New York,
Arnold Yerman and Allen Tyner of
West Bloomfield, Helen Budman of
Birmingham, Gloria Sellers of
Southfield. He was the beloved son
of the late Rose and Louis Berk;
loving father of the late Billy.

HENRY BERLOW, 90, of
Farmington Hills, died June 24. He
was a men's clothing manufacturer's
representative and a member of the
B'nai B'rith Marshall Lodge.

Elizabeth Berlow of West

MILTON BIELFIELD, 94, of
Southfield, died June 25. He was in
real estate sales.
Mr. Bielfield is survived by his
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Joseph and Evelyn Tannenhaus,

Anne Tanenhaus, Eva Berk and Jean
Ehrlich; niece, Sonya Gutman. He
was the beloved husband of the late
Clara Bielfield.
