Allyson (Ochs) and Craig Primack of
Phoenix, Ariz., welcome with love the
birth of their son, Samuel Zachary
(Shmuel Ze'ev). Sharing in their hap-
piness are excited grandparents Carole
and Larry Ochs of Scottsdale, Ariz.,
formerly of Farmington Hills, and
Judi and Jordan Primack of Chicago.
Proud great-grandparents are Louis
Ochs, formerly of Southfield, Maurice

Friday, June 22. He is the son of
Joan and Dr. Bruce Bialor and
brother of Dana.
Excited grandpar-
ents are Rosalind
and Harry Bialor
and Shirley and
Jack Koser.
An honor stu-
dent at Abbott
Middle School in
West Bloomfield,
Andrew likes hockey, track and play-
ing the baritone. As part of his mitz-
vah projects, he enjoyed working
with younger children in the Temple
Israel library.

Elizabeth Kramer Callan will cele-

brate her bat mitzvah at Temple Israel
during HavdaLh services on Saturday,
June 23. She is the
daughter of Deborah
and Thomas Callan
and sister of
Jonathan and Reed.

A Farmington Hills Dunckel
Middle School student and class vice
president, Betsy plays the flute, dances,
likes forensics and computers. Her
most meaningful mitzvah project was
playing the flute at a nursing home.

Joshua Ian Diem will be called to the

Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday,
June 23, at Temple Israel. He is the
son of Donna and Jerry Diem, brother
of Bryan and grand-
child of Marian
Rich. He is also the
grandson of the late
George Rich and
the late Ida and
Irving Diem.
A student at
Norup Middle
School in Oak Park,
where he is on the football team and
involved in the school play, Joshua
loves sports and music. Among his
mitzvah projects, he volunteered at
Temple Israel's Labor Day picnic and
assisted younger children with learning
problems.

Steven Jackson will

be called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, June 23, at
Adat Shalom
Synagogue. He is the
son of Lisa and Larry
Jackson and the
brother of Joel and
Jared. Proud grand-
parents are Norma and Sol Stoller and
Evelyn Jackson. He is also the grandson
of the late Robert Jackson.
Steven is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. His interests include soc-
cer, trumpet and video games. His
mitzvah projects included doing activi-
ties with members of the Jewish
Association for Residential Care as well
as delivering food baskets.
