Korach's rebellion was unsuc-
cessful because he rebelled for

heaven" which is interpreted by
the classic Mislma commentary.
Rabbi Ovadia Bartinoro (1450-
1516) as: "His goal and purpose
was to seek honor and power."
Thus, those who dispute, par-
ticularly against authority, for pure-
ly personal reasons are ultimately
destined to fail for their disputes are
destructive and evil.
