Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Adva Gadoth-Goodman will
become a bat mitzvah on Saturday,
June 16, at
Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
B'nai Israel. Her
proud parents are
Sharon and Doron
Gadoth-Goodman
and her devoted sis-
ter is Daphna. She
is the granddaugh-
ter of Rachel and the late Arthur
Goodman and of Lottie and Dr.
Jack Kwiatek.
Adva is completing the seventh
grade at Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills as an honor student. She is
also a member of the Novi Sports
Club rhythmic gymnastics team,
where she took first place in all-
around for region 3 level six juniors.
Adva will be volunteering with the
Friendship Circle this summer to
work with children with special
needs.

Michael Philip
Goldstein became
a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, June 9, at
Adat Shalom
Synagogue. He is
the son of Albert
and Shari
Goldstein and the
brother of Lauren. Proud grandpar-
ents are Regina Goldstein and
Beverly and Robert Rosenfeld. He is
also the grandson of the late Reuven
Goldstein.
Michael is an honor student at
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. His
interests include computers, sports
and playing guitar. He enjoys spend-
ing his summers at Tamarack
Camps. For his mitzvah projects,
Michael enjoyed working at Yad
Ezra. He also volunteered at the
Jewish Association for Residential
Care.

vah on Saturday,
June 16, at Temple
Israel. He is the son
of Eva Bergeman
and Andrew
Gordon and broth-
er of Jessie. Proud
