Reid, Max Fisher and David Hermelin met last May at the Franklin home of Sherman, a member of the Detroit Federation Board of Governors. three years ago, according to state of Michigan figures, WSU had 47 per- cent of undergraduate credit hours taught by part-timers, compared to 24 percent, the median in 15 other Michigan public universities.
