13ar/Bat Mitzvah

Eric Howard Dresner will be called to
the Torah as a bar
mitzvah on Friday,
June 8, at Temple
Beth El. He is the
son of Susan and
Robert Dresner and
the brother .of
Kathryn Dresner.
Proud grandparents
are Beatrice and
Arthur Faber, Miriam and Leslie
Colburn and Linda and Milton
Dresner.
Eric is an honor student at
Cranbrook-Kingswood Middle School
in Bloomfield Hills, where he plays
viola in advanced strings. He enjoys
skiing, swimming, kayaking, music,
computers and summers at Camp
Tamakwa. For his mitzvah project,
Eric found it meaningful to help the
less fortunate at the Coalition On
Temporary Shelter.

Eric Daniel Finegood of Huntington
Woods will be called to the Tora'• as a
bar mitzvah on
Saturday, June 9, a
Temple Emanu-El.
He is the son of Ken
and Pam Finegood,
older brother of
Kevin and Sarah and
loving grandson of
Barbara Armstead,
Dolores and Alan
Lefton and Harold
Finegood. He is also the grandson of
the late James Armstead. His great-
grandparents are Yetta Armstead and
Winifred Stayton-Rea.
Eric is a seventh-grade honor stu-
dent at Norup Middle School in Oak
Park. He enjoys skiing in the Winter
Walden Ski Club, playing cello in the
Norup orchestra and piano at home.
He also enjoys golf, art, baseball and
spending summers at Tamarack
Camps.
For his mitzvah projects, Eric
helped out at Yad Ezra, packaging
boxes of food for the less fortunate,
and weeding and planting flowers at a
Kadima home. His most recent proj-
ect was collecting old prescription
glasses and giving them to an eye doc-
tor who goes to South America every
year to distribute glasses to needy
patients.
