SIDNEY FRANK SCHARE, 73,
former Detroiter of Clermont, Fla.,
died June 4. He was an owner/oper-
ator of a custom draperies store.
He is survived by his sons and
daughter-in-law, Manny Schare of

Schare of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter
and son-in-law, Cynthia and
Matthew Sherr of Clermont; grad-
daughter, Brooke.

BERTHA SPILMAN, 90, of West
Bloomfield, died May 29. She was a
member of B'nai David Sisterhood,
past president of the Fanny Gluck
chapter of Mizrachi and a devoted
worker for the chapter for 50 years.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Murray and
Geraldine Spilman of Orchard Lake,
Gilbert and Fran Spilman of
Bloomfield Hills; daughters and son-
in-law, Frances Spilman of
Scottsdale, Ariz., Rena and Bert
Diamond of Redando Beach,
California; sister, Lillian Berman of
West Bloomfield; sister-in-law, Edith
Temchin; grandchildren, Jeffrey and
Olga, Daniel and Natalia, Darren,
Amy and Brian, Jill and Barry, Terri,
Leslie, Michael and LeeAnn, Beth,
Micah and Cathy; great-grandchil-
dren, Jessica, Austin, Alexandra,

Daniella, Jeremy, Kayla, Nathan. She
was the beloved wife of the late Emil
Spilman; loving sister of the late
Esther Sterns and the late Max
