Summer Pleasures e From bold graphics to floral prints Bold florals: After seasons of monochro- matic dressing, the new floral prints are refreshing in their bold palettes and abstract interpretations. Look like you've come from Andy Warhol's studio in this Muse silk skirt from Roz & Sherm, Bloomfield Hills. Graphics: "It's bold and graphic but also soft and delicate," says Ralph Lauren of his dressed-up menswear silhou ettes. Bold brown and white stripes give a classic silk pantsuit a sophisti- cated edge. Wrapped with long strands-of pearls, the look is "sexy, strong, feminine and young," says Lauren. Op-art graphics from the '60s find new canvases on summer_dresses, pants and swimsuits. The chevron-striped pant is an example of fashion as art. Don't be a print phobic this summer. Look for geometrics, abstract florals, Pucci-inspired graphics and zigzag stripes. At Neiman Marcus, Somerset Collection, Troy, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Asymmetries: The asymmetrical hem- line creeps above the knee in a tissue- weight lambskin skirt from Donna Karan, (right) paired with an off-the- shoulder jersey top and Manolo Blahnik ankle-tie sandals. The bare shoulder look and stiletto heels rule for warmer months. At Neiman Marcus, Somerset Collection, Troy. Top photo: Saks Fifth Avenue.
