Panathinaikos 81-67 in Paris to win the
European championship for the first
time in 20 years.
The win is Maccabi's third European

High-Speed Train
To Serve Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv/JTA — Israel's rail authority
inaugurated a double-decker passenger
train that will serve suburban communi-
ties surrounding Tel Aviv.
The train can seat 505 people and
reach speeds of 87 miles per hour.
