He was a former member of the
American Orthopsychiatric Society,
the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society
and a charter member of the
Pittsburgh Psychiatric Society. In
addition, he was an emeritus alum-
nus of the University of Michigan
and the U-M Medical School, a
member of the Grand Rapids Jewish
Welfare Board, B'nai B'rith, the
Hadassah organization for provision
of medical care and services in the
State of Israel, United Jewish Appeal,
Americans for Democratic Action,
American Civil Liberties Union, the
Jewish Federation of Grand Rapids
and congregations Temple Emmanuel
and Ahavas Israel. He also founded
and helped to serve as president of
the Grand Rapids Jewish Cultural
Council.
Dr. Rosenzweig is survived by his
wife of 67 years, Dora C.
Rosenzweig; children, Monica
Armour of Toronto, Herschel (Jill)
Rosenzweig of Tucson, Ariz., Harry
Rosenzweig of New York City,
Suzanne (Martin) Fenster of
Pittsburgh, Joseph (Theresa)
Rosenzweig of New York City; 10
grandchildren; five great-grandchil-
dren; sisters, Sophie (Mac) Newman
of Detroit, Bess Nass of San Diego.

MI or to the Conductive Education
(Program at Aquinas College in
Grand Rapids.

,RACHEL SIEGEL formerly of
Livonia of N. Lauderdale, Fla., died
May 13. She was a founding member
of the Livonia Jewish Congregation
and a member of its sisterhood.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Joel and Heather
Siegel of Tamarac, Fla.; brother Jack
Hilf of Toronto; sister, Rose
Greenbaum of Washington, D.C.;
grandchildren, Adam and Jessica. She
was the beloved wife of the late
Samuel Siegel.

FRANK SILVERMAN, 91, of
Charlotte, N.C., died May 19. He
was a credit manager at Sinai
Hospital. Mr. Silverman was also a
member of the Anti-Defamation
League and Common Cause.
He is survived by his son and

Silverman of Oak Park; daughter and
son-in-law, Susan and Richard Banks
of North Carolina; grandchildren,
Sherrie and Gary DeShetler, Laura
