Ed Kras will host three summer floor
Applications are being accepted from
hockey day camps at the Jewish
Community Center InLine Hockey
Center in West Bloomfield.
Krass created and supervised a
floor hockey league at Southfield's
Leonhard Elementary School for 35
years.
Each three-week camp at the
InLine Hockey Center will have
grades 1-3 in the morning and
grades 4-5 in the afternoon. The
first week of each session will be
devoted to instruction. The last two
weeks will feature daily games and
continued instruction.
The fee for June 18-July 6 is S168
for JCC members and 5188 for non-
members. The fees for sessions II (July
9-27) and III (July 27 - Aug. 17) I
S180 for JCC members and $200 for
non-members per sesion. All necessary
equipment is included.

Administered through Jewish
Vocational Service (JVS), Hebrew Free
Loan Association and the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit,
the program is available to metro
Detroit Jewish residents.
To be considered, applicants must
be full-time students pursuing an
undergraduate, graduate or profession-
al education; be able to document
financial need; attend a Michigan edu-
cational institution unless a compara-
ble program is not available in
Michigan; and demonstrate academic
progress toward a career objective.
In addition to loans, JVS also pro-
vides counseling to parents and sal-
dents interested in other financial aid
options available through state, federal
and private sources.
JELS applications will be accepted

Volunteers will meet for breakfast at
9:30 a.m. in the Max M. Fisher
Federation Building in Bloomfield
Township and then carpool to the
park on Jefferson Avenue, east of the
Renaissance Center. Carpools will
return at 2 p.m.
