Dr. Seymour Gretchko, super- intendent of West Bloomfield Schools, will be the speaker. Superintendent since 1983, Gretchko is a known advocate for edu- cation. Named the 2000 Michigan Superintendent of the Year, he is also the recipient of an Excellence in Education Leadership Award 2000 from the University Council for Educational Administration. In 1995, West Bloomfield honored him with the naming of the Seymour Gretchko Elementary School.
