LESLIE SCHEY, 82, of West Bloomfield,
died May 5. For 35 years, he was the owne
of Hansel and Gretel Children's Shoes in
Birmingham as well as being a wholesale
representative for Dexter Shoes.
As a Holocaust survivor, Mr. Schey
devoted much of his life and time speaking
to students all over Michigan and was
involved with the Detroit Holocaust
Memorial Center.
He is survived by his wife, Vera Schey;
daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Gary
Keehn of Washington; son, Tommy Schey
of California; grandchildren, Elan Keehn,
C arly Keehn, Britt Schey.
Interment at Hebrew Memorial Park.
