oldie (Seidner) Abt,
who fled her homeland
of Germany for the
United States in 1940, turned
90 on April 18. She and her
family are members of
Congregation T'chiyah. Her
daughter and son-in-law are
Roslyn and Marvin Schindler
of Southfield; her grandson is
Neal. Mrs. Abt celebrated her
special birthday with friends
and family at a surprise lun-
cheon on April 28 at the
Peking House Restaurant in
Royal Oak.
