He was a graduate of Wayne University and taught math in the Detroit Public Schools. He later followed in his father's footsteps and became a florist. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, achieving Sol Rosenman rank of staff sergeant. Mr. Rosenman was active in B'nai Kith as president of the Louis Marshall Lodge. He was also a founding member of Temple Israel, a member of the Southfield Rotary Club and an avid bridge player.
