Temple Israel. She is the daughter of

Attending West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills, Andrea
likes swimming, babysitting, soccer,
golf, tennis and volleyball. Among
her mitzvah projects, she volunteers
on an ongoing basis with the Jewish
Association for Residential Care and
she babysat during the holidays at
Temple Israel.

Adam is a seventh-grade honor
student at Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. He played junior varsity basket-
ball for Hillel and is playing for the
Marlins in the Franklin Pony League.
He has studied trumpet for four
years. Adam took a trip to Israel last
summer with his parents in honor of
his forthcoming bar mitzvah. His
mitzvah project has included volun-
teering for Yad Ezra, Jewish
Association for Residential Care and
Jewish Experiences for Families.

Jacob is an honor
student at Hillel
Day School of
Metropolitan
Detroit in
Farmington Hills, where he is on the
basketball and cross country teams.
He loves sports, skiing, snow-board-
ing, music, movies, being with friends
and summers at Camp Tanuga.
For his mitzvah projects, Jacob
volunteered at Yad Ezra, for the
Jewish Association for Residential
Care program and at Adat Shalom
to help feed the homeless.

the Torah as a bat mitzvah at

Township, Jamie is interested in
softball, soccer, swimming, making

was donating to the Make-a-Wish
Foundation. She was also pleased to
volunteer at Temple Israel's book
fair.
Jeffrey Alan Stein will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, April 21, at Temple Beth
El. He is the son of
Marlene Stein and
Ralph Stein, broth-
er of Wendy and
half brother of
Adam and Allison
Stein. He is also the
grandson of the late
Alex and Irene Taub
and the late Eugene
and Maria Stein.
Jeff is an all-A honor student at
Derby Middle School in
Birmingham. He is an avid skate-
boarder. For his mitzvah project,

Jeffrey was a teacher's aide working
with autistic children at Derby
Middle School. He and his sister
adopted two cats, rescuing them
from an unsafe home environment.
