Beth Shalom
Plans Tribute

Children in Congregation Beth Shalom's
religious school will pay tribute to their
teachers and volunteers from the reli-
gious school parents group on Sunday,
April 29, at the synagogue.
The program will provide the chil-
dren with an opportunity to thank their
teachers and volunteers for their efforts
toward the children's Jewish education.
Each grade will acknowledge their teach-
ers with flowers and a gift.
Students and their parents will partici-
pate in morning services followed by
Prayer Aerobic movements led by Shelley
Littman. A short ceremony honoring the
teachers and volunteers will be followed
by remarks from the religious school
director, the school board president, the
synagogue president and an office repre-
sentative.

Plans Courses

Temple Shir Shalom will offer two cours-
es this spring taught by Rabbi Dannel
Schwartz.
"Taming Your Gremlins: Using
Mysticism and Kabbala to Confront
Personal Issues" will be held 8:15-9:15
p.m. Wednesdays, April 25 - May 16.
"Introduction to Kabbala: A
Philosophy of Living Spiritually" will be
taught 8:15-9:15 p.m. Wednesdays, May
23 - June 13.
Class fees are 545. Reservations may
be made by calling Temple Shir Shalom,
(248) 737-8700.
