Dr. Pensler practiced general and cosmetic den- tistry for more than 35 years at the Garden City Otseopathic Hospital. He was the developed of the double-arch impression technique and the Pensler Shield for shade selection. He was also an award-winning photog- rapher and had been commissioned in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Public Health Service. Dr. Pensler was instrumental in influencing the decision to place flu- oride in the metropolitan Detroit water system as well as in surround- ing suburbs.
