was a scrap metal executive.

DR. ISADORE BOTVINICK, 87,
of Pontiac, died April 12. A derma-
tologist and teacher, he had a prac-
tice in Pontiac for over 60 years. He
was a member of the Wayne State
Medical Facility, past president of
the Michigan Association of
Dermatology and a professor emeri-
tus of Wayne State Medical School.
Dr. Botvinick is survived by his
son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Carl
and Sandy Botvinick of Bloomfield
Hills; daughter and son-in-law,
Naomi and Doug Moseley; grand-
children, Joshua and Daniel

Borvinick. He was the beloved hus-

April 15. She was a bookkeeper for
Budman s, Inc., a third-generation
remodeling and building business.
Mrs. Budman was a member of

involved with the Humane Society.
She is survived by her husband of

hood. She was also a former volun-

BERNARD EDELMAN, 91, of
Beverly Hills, died April 13. He
began in business by selling grocery
and feed products and running his
father's grocery store;
his first business was
Crest Birdseed. He
then began to sell
real estate ands even-
tually partnered with
Grant Silverfarb,
Louis Silverfarb and
Bernard
Harry Young in
Edelman

Associates and Realty circa 1948
Development
Corporation. This association lasted
for over 60 years. He was part of
the development of the first shop-
ping malls in southeastern
Michigan.
Mr. Edelman was an active mem-
ber of the Technion Society, Mogen
David Adom and Bar-Ilan. He was a
longtime member of Congregation
Shaarey Zedek. He donated art to
many places, including
Congregation Beth Ahm, and he
helped to develop a youth room at
that congregation. He was an active
supporter of Israel.
Mr. Edelman enjoyed writing and
published six books of poetry and
one novel.
He is survived by his devoted
friend, Lillian Bran; sister, Grace
Kent of Oregon; nieces and
nephews, Jill Kent and Mark
Solomons, Joan and Dan Kuitka,
Elizabeth Edelman and Jay
Strongwater, Susan Edelman and
Peter Ostrow, Michael Edelman,
Jerry Richman, Sharie and Marvin
Vandermay; great-nieces and great-
nephews. He was the loving brother
of the late Samuel Edelman, the late
Leonard Edelman, the late
Charlotte Richman and the late
Ann Sterling.
