Planned Parenthood

Actress Mia Farrow will be the keynote
speaker for the Planned Parenthood of
Southeast Michigan's seventh annual
fundraiser 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, May
9, at St. John's Armenian Banquet &
Conference Center in Southfield. Helen
Katz and Diane Orley are the commit-
tee co-chairs.

Optical Forum

D.O.C. Optics President and CEO
Richard Golden recently participated
in an influential optical industry
panel moderated by CNN (Cable
News Network) talk show host Larry
King.
The event, sponsored by the Vision
Council of America, was held at the
International Vision Expo in New York.
"It was exciting to be able to discuss the
current state of the optical industry with
Larry King, answering questions regard-
ing the impact of the current economy,
laser eye surgery and managed care,"
said Golden.
