(celebration of the new moon accord-
ing to the Jewish lunar calendar) pro-
gram, "Sisterhood for the Soul," at
Temple Beth El, where Syme's hus-
band, Rabbi Daniel Svme, is a spiritu-
al leader. She will discuss the mind,
body and spirit connection.
The Jewish Women's Foundation of
Metropolitan Detroit seeks to expand
and improve opportunities and choic-
es in all aspects of Jewish women's and
girls' lives through strategic and effec-
tive grant making.
Although a goal of the Foundation
is to effect a positive change in the
