Family Fun

The American Jewish Committee Metropolitan Detroit Chapter held an inter-
active Passover program for AJCommittee families March 26 at the Jewish.
Community Center in West Bloomfield. Following dinner, families baked
matzah and designed "Ten Plagues" bags to be used at their family seders.
Slingshot frogs included in the Plague kits were big hits. The JCC's Rabbi Hal
Greenwald led the adult study session about Passover. AJC board member Todd
Mendel chaired the event. The Birmingham resident is shown with his children
Sophie, 6, and Rebecca, 3.

Kadima Passover

Artist Sue Katz of Farmington Hills volunteered to help clients of Southfield-
based Kadima create ceramic Passover seder plates at the Project Friendship
with Kadima brunches, sponsored by the National Council of Jewish
Women/Greater Detroit Section. Shown are Kadima clients Jack Lublin of
Southfield and Sheri Mesarosch of Farmington Hills.
