The Detroit Friends of Bar-Ilan University
mourn the passing of
Samuel Platt
The last of the Detroit visionaries, who founded Bar-Ilan,
Sam was of the generation of giants who created and lived
for the life of Torah and Derech Eretz. He leaves a legacy
of family and Jewish commitment that will serve our People
well for generations, and will be deeply missed.
May his family know no more sorrow.
