beautiful than the
Passover seder and the
retelling of our Exodus to
freedom.
In addition to the religious and historical importance
of all the major holidays, entertaining has taken on a
new significance. Perhaps it's the influence of NIartha
Stewart or the accessibility of beautiful Judaica — even
department stores are selling magnificent seder plates.
The Sisterhood of Adat Shalom recog-
nized this trend and created a dazzling and
educational workshop "Hiddur Mitzvah." I
attended portions of the event last
November, and we have featured some of
the magnificent table settings in this issue.
This exciting workshop filled with inspiring
ideas is now an annual event.
Not only do we celebrate Passover in
April, but it is also glass month. Gail Katz
shares her love of glass and her magnificent
collection with us. Speaking about collections, we also
feature interior designer Susan Dresner's folk art and
antiques. To get you ready for spring, take a peek at
Dana Buchman's new collection.
Have a happy Passover.
