honored for their artistic accomplish-
ments ("Women Of Art," March 16,
page 39).
It was new work performed by
young artists. The women honored
were recognized for their work in
visual arts, theater, literature, dance,
music and sculpture.
Norma Goldman, the guiding light
for the seniors' Writing Club, was an
honoree. We who attend the session
under her guidance meet seniors who
express themselves in their writing.
We have very good poetry, personal
stories, fiction and even a play now
and then, all under Norma, who lis-
tens and commends.
The writing is printed once a year
and is sold at the Jewish Book Fair.
We are proud. It's good for us older
folks. So come and join. We meet
once a month on Friday morning at
the Jewish Community Center in
Oak Park. It's really good and refresh-
es your mind. Join; you will surprise
yourself.
