Cincinnati.
Alaina is an honor student at
West Hills Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. She enjoys tennis,
volleyball, computers, travel, foren-
sics, playing the violin and being
with friends.
Alaina's mitzvah projects include
working with autistic children at
West Hills Middle School, volun-
teering with the seniors at the
Heatherwood retirement center in
Southfield and donating to the
Make-a-Wish Foundation.

the late Ada Moiseev and the late
Harvey David Lipton.
David is a seventh-grade honor
student at Norup Middle School in
Oak Park. He enjoys skiing, baseball,
robotics and playing the oboe.
During the summer, he enjoys fami-
ly vacations, spending time with
friends and going to Camp Walden.
His mitzvah projects included work-
ing at Yad Ezra and sharing monthly
activities with senior citizens at
Coville Apartments in Southfield.

Edward Meyer Stern will be called

31, at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. He is
the son of Jill and
Marshall Stern
ands the brother of
Seth and Scott.
Eddie is the grand-
son of Robert and
Roslyn August and
Julius and the late Sylvia Stern. He is
the great-grandson of the late Sara
Hoffman.
Eddie is an honor student at
Sarah Banks Middle School in
Wixom. He enjoys baseball, basket-
ball, golf, kickboxing, music and
being online with his friends. His
most meaningful mitzvah projects
were volunteering at Hadassah for
the Ducky Derby and the rummage
sale.
Max Abraham Temkin will be called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on

31, at Temple
Israel. He is the
son of Nancy and
Richard Temkin

Matthew. Happy

An honor student at Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills,
Max enjoys baseball, football, video
games, skiing and tennis. He found
it very meaningful to volunteer at
Yad Ezra.
Max Citrin Wagenberg will become
a bar mitzvah at Temple Israel on
Friday, March 30. He is the son of
Dr. Sanford Wagenberg and Alise
and Paul Marks and brother of

likes to play golf,

volunteers to work with underprivi-
leged children.
Brooke Erin Weisman will be called
to the Torah to celebrate her bat
mitzvah on Saturday, March 31, at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek. Her

Brooke is an

trying out to be a cheerleader.
Brooke's mitzvah projects includ-
ed bringing canned goods and gloves
to her middle school, bringing
canned goods and packaging them
for the Jewish Community Center
and volunteering to raise money to
help cure diabetes.
