Jackie (Kort) and Ron Pomerantz of
Chicago are thrilled to announce the
birth of their son, Samuel
Benjamin. The very proud grand-
parents are Maxine and Sid Kort of
Farmington Hills and Shirley and
Bernie Pomerantz. of Glenview, Ill.
Samuel is named in loving memory
of his paternal great-grandfathers Sol
Winokur and Sol Pomerantz and his
maternal uncle Bennie Weinberg.

Abigail and Douglas Schildcrout of
Huntington Woods happily
announce the birth of son Andrew
Todd (Tovi Simcha), lovingly wel-
comed by big brothers Zachary
Ross, 4 3/4, and Ryan Seth, 3.
Seasoned grandparents are Sallee and
Nelson Lipshutz of Waban, Mass.,
and Toni and Steve Schildcrout of
Youngstown, Ohio. Great-grandpar-
ents are Harry Schildcrout of Boca
Raton and Esther Lipshutz of
Philadelphia. Andrew was also
blessed for just over two weeks with
a third great-grandparent Lil
Schildcrout, who will be greatly
missed. Andrew Todd is named in
