NATHAN BADER, 74, of Illinois, for-

and Detroit, died
merly of
March 7. Prior to retirement in 1995, he
was a self-employed financial planner.
Mr. Bader served in the U.S. Army Air
Force during World War II, was a mem-
ber of Kiwanis, Rotary Club, Blackhawk
Chapter of the National Federation of
the Blind and was an adult literacy tutor
in Alpena.
He is survived by his wife, June
Bader; daughter and son-in-law Jennifer
and Brandon Kelly; three stepchildren;
eight grandchildren; three great-grand-
children; brother and sister-in-law,
Martin and Irene Bader. He was the lov-
ing son of the late Abraham Bader and
the late Sarah Bader; the dear brother of
the late Muriel Oppenheim.
Interment in Illinois. This announce-
ment was placed at the request of the
family by the Ira Kaufman Chapel.

Hills, died March 14. He was a men's
clothing sales consultant and a member
of the Knights of Pythias Lodge 55.
Mr. Bakst is survived by his wife, Sara
Burton Bakst; daughters and sons-in-
law, Gayle and Elliott Cohn of- Florida,
Marla and Mark Straschewski of
Bloomfield Hills; son, Alan Bakst of
West Bloomfield; grandsons, David and
Zachary Cohn; brother and sister-in-law,

She was the beloved wife of the late
Alfred Cowan.

Angeles, died March 3. He was a league
championship softball player and sports
enthusiast. He was employed in the tele-
vision industry in Los Angeles.

of Mountain Home, Ark.; sisters and
brother-in-law, Laynie and Daryl Davis
of California, Lili and Sam O'Brian of
Mountain Home. He was the son of the
late Alan Davis.
