Dr. Julius Barr is a husband, father and grandfather.
He also suffers from Alzheimer's Disease, which is
heartbreaking for his entire family. He's a participant
at the Dorothy and Peter Brown Jewish Community-
Adult Day Care Program in Southfield and West
Bloomfield. There, Dr. Barr tells WWII Navy stories and
plays his violin for others. This makes his own life more
fulfilling and helps demonstrate Jewish values at work.
