Josh is a seventh-grade student at
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. His
favorite activities include comput-
ers, music and sports. His mitzvah
project included volunteering and
working with the Jewish
Association for Residential Care
program.
Nathan Samuel
Greenberg will
become a bar mitz-
vah on Saturday,
March 17, at
Congregation
Shaarey Zedek. He
is the son of Illana
and Danny
Greenberg and
brother of Matthew. Proud grand-
parents are Sylvia and Sol Panush
and Carolyn and Hugh Greenberg.
Nathan is an honor student at
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. He
loves to read, talk and make people
laugh. His interests include skiing,
music, watching TV cooking
shows, playing word conquest
games and enjoying summers at
Camp Tanuga.
For his mitzvah projects, Nathan
volunteered at Camp Betman, col-
lected and donated books to the
Cortland Academy in Highland
Park and participated in the Pet-a-
Pet program with his dog Sophie.
Danielle Katz will become a bat
mitzvah on Friday,
March 16, at
Temple Emanu-El.
Danielle is the
daughter of Sheri
and Bob Katz and
sister of
Jacqueline. She is
the granddaughter
of Esther Dresser
and Marjorie Katz and of the late
Joseph Dresser and the late Larry
Katz.
Danielle is an honor student at
Norup Middle School in Oak Park.
She has studied tap dancing since
age 3 and competes in regional and
national competitions with her tap
team. Danielle also enjoys jazz
dancing, soccer and skiing. Her
mitzvah projects include assisting at
the Huntington Woods Recreation
Center and camp, working with a
4-year-old child through Friendship
Circle and working with Temple
Emanu-El's Purim carnival.
Jenna Beth Kaufman will become a
bat mitzvah on
Friday, March 16,
at Temple Israel.
She is the daughter
of Judy and Joseph
Kaufman and sis-
ter of Carly and
Joshua. Happy are
grandparents Babs
and Herbert
Kaufman and
Anne and Edward Osher as well as
great-grandmother Rose Kaufman.
An all-A student at Warner
Middle School in Farmington Hills,
Jenna enjoys attending Camp
Tamarack, dancing and skiing. Her
mitzvah projects included volun-
teering at Leo's Soup Kitchen,
working with the Friendship Circle
and helping at Temple Israel.
Rachel Elana Klein will be called
to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, March 17, at Temple
Israel. She is the daughter of
Monica and Dr. Michael Klein and
sister of Lauren.

Rachel enjoys playing the piano,

March 17. He is the son of Dr.
