their son, Blake Charles (Rafael
Yochanon). Welcoming him home is

Leib of West Bloomfield and Morris
and Miriam Rubenstein of Livonia.
Blake is the great-grandson of the
late, beloved Harry and Rebecca
Stein. He is named in loving memo-
ry of his paternal uncle Charles

Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Adam Jacob Barth of Oak Park will
be called to the Torah as a bar mitz-
vah on Saturday,
March 17, at
Congregation Beth
Shalom. He is the
son of Ellen and
Daniel Barth and
brother of Jonathan
and Rachel. He is
the grandson of Eva
and Sam Taylor,
Ann Barth and the late Earl Barth.
Adam is an honor student at
Norup Middle School in Oak Park.
He plays the French horn in the
school concert and jazz bands and
enjoys in-line hockey. For his mitz-
vah project, he volunteered with his
class at the Coville Apartments and
at Yad Ezra.

Leore Berris, daughter of Ilana and
Cantor Earl G. Berris, will celebrate
her becoming a bat mitzvah during
Mincha services at
Congregation
B'nai Moshe on
Saturday, March
17. She is the sister
of Doron and the
granddaughter of
Batia and Gedaliya
Monka of Kfar
Saba, Israel, and
the late Bessie and Dr. Gerson I.
Berris.
Leore is a student at Hillel Day
