Tour Teaches How

Matzah Is Made

The Jewish Community Center of
Metropolitan Detroit and•Chabad
will host a tour of the Barbara and
Douglas Bloom Matzah Factory in
the Jewish Community Center in
West Bloomfield.
The tour includes matzah baking,
craft making and learning about
Passover. Tours are open to the pub-
lic on Sunday, March 25, and
Sunday, April 1. Tour times are
1:30-2:30 p.m., 2:30-3:30 p.m. and
3:30-4:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Israel-US. Trade

The U. S. Department of
Commerce, U.S. Commercial
Service, will hold a public videocon-
ference on the Israeli economic cli-
mate and doing business in Israel at
9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, at
Wayne State University, Oakland
Campus, Room 514 (12 Mile
between Farmington and Drake,
Farmington Hills).
Co-sponsored locally by the
American-Israel Chamber of
Economic Development and the
WSU School of Business
Administration, the videoconference
will be broadcast live from the U.S.
Embassy in Tel Aviv.
A question-and-answer session
with U.S. companies and presenters
will be followed by closing remarks
by Richard Corson, director of the
U.S. Export Assistance Center, U.S.
Commercial Service, in Pontiac and
the Commerce Department leader of
the Middle East/North Africa team.
The videoconference also will be
broadcast to Cleveland, Indianapolis
and Des Moines.
