Alex Moyer (Aaron Yitzhak) of
Ann Arbor will be called to the
bimah for his bar mitzvah on
Saturday, March 17, at Temple
Beth Emeth. Sharing in the joy of
the event will be
his parents Gayle
and Bruce Moyer
and his brother
Justin, 10. Proud

Marilyn and Joel
Shore of Bloomfield Hills.
Alex is a seventh-grader at
Clague Middle School in Ann
Arbor. He plays golf, baseball and
he snowboards in his spare time.
He is also very involved in his com-
munity. Alex and his classmates
worked on a project packing food
for Food Gatherers. He has worked
on several other mitzvah projects.
In honor of his bar mitzvah, Alex
will make a donation to Safe
House, a domestic violence shelter
in Ann Arbor.

called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, March 17, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue. Lauren is the

17, at Temple
Israel. She is the
daughter of Lori
and Owen Miller
and sister of
Hannah. Proud are
grandparents Lewis and Miriam
Davis, Bobbie Miller and great-
grandmother Margaret Leebove.
She is also the grandchild of the
late Harry S. Miller.
Erin is an honor student at
Walled Lake Middle School, where
she is a member of the student
council. She also enjoys reading,
dancing and conversing with
friends on the computer. Her most
meaningful mitzvah projects
included volunteering at a women's
homeless shelter and at Menorah
House.

dent, Daniel is interested in com-
puters, music, soccer, basketball,
tennis and snowboarding. Among
his mitzvah projects, he volun-
teered at a nursing home, assisted
in the Temple Israel library and
donated to the Michigan Jewish
AIDS Coalition.

called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, March

Ashley is the
daughter of Dr.
and Mrs. Errol
Sherman and sister
of Bradley and
Brittany Sherman.
Proud grandmother
is Mrs. Gail Sherman. She is also
the granddaughter of the late
Albert Sherman and Bernie and
Doris Fineberg.
An honor student at Abbott
Middle School in West Bloomfield,
where she is a member of choir and
theater arts, Ashley also enjoys ski-
ing and dancing.
Ashley's mitzvah projects include
volunteering at Yad Ezra, painting
bowls with the Jewish Association
for Residential Care and assisting
the elderly with bingo at the Danto
Family Health Care Center.
