The Weissman living room centers around a turn-of-

the-century fireplace mantel and mirror from an

estate in Pennsylvania. Displayed atop the mantel

are Tiffany Paris candelabra from the 1905 Paris

Exhibition. A weathervane, circa 1855, dominates

one corner, while a Tiffany tea service fills the

coffee table. Pillows on the sofas are made from

antique Aubusson tapestries.

What used lobe the Weissmans' youngest daughter's
bedroom, now doubles as a nursery for grandchildren:
The crib and custom crib linens are a specialty of A Touch
of Lace. A mini chaise is covered in D. Porthault's classic
heart pattern. The antique Irish iron and brass bed is
swathed in monogrammed linens, hand-embroidered
shams and an antique quilt. An Italian Murano glass
chandelier hangs above the tableaux.
