Knowing Ira Kaufman's great grandson Chad and great granddaughter Stephanie were

died Feb. 15. She .was a retail sales con-
sultant.
Mrs. Saxon is survived by her son

Saxon of West Virginia; grandchildren,
Howard and Sherri Saxon; great-gran-
child, Kyle Saxon.

MOLLY SHAPIRO, 79, of Southfield

died Feb. 20. She was past president of
the Louis Marshall Chapter of Women's
International, a former board member
of Congregation Beth Achim and its sis-
terhood, and a longtime Red Cross
Blood Bank volunteer.
Mrs. Shapiro is survived by her
husband of 59 '/2 years, Harold
Shapiro; daughters and son-in-law,
Sandra Shapiro and Joel Goldhaber,
Cheryl Tessler of San Diego, Calif;
brothers and sisters-in-law, Israel and
Lillian Liebowitz of Boca Raton, Fla.,
Joseph and Marcia Liebowitz of
Farmington Hills; sister-in-law and
brothers-in-law, Leonard Gould,
Martin Winston, Helen and Billy
Roy; grandchildren Robyn Beresh,
Brandon Tessler, Adam Tessler.
Mrs. Shapiro was the loving sister of
the late Zelda Gould, the late Ethel
Liebowitz and the late Norma
Liebowitz, and sister-in-law of the late
Ann Winston.

BERNICE WEINSTEIN, 77, former
Detroiter of Scottsdale, Ariz., died
Feb. 12.
She is survived by her husband,
Abraham Weinstein; sons, Neil
Weinstein and Elliot Salk, both of
Scottsdale; sister, Nettie Brenner of
Southfield; brother, Marvin Goldstein of
Farmington Hills; four grandchildren.

RAYMONDE B. WERT II, 59, of
Bloomfield Hills, died Feb. 12. For 21
years, he was a financial consultant at
Merrill Lynch's Bloomfield Hills office.
He attended West Point, the University
of Detroit and was a graduate of Wayne
State University. He was also a member
Temple Beth El and treasurer of its
brotherhood, was on the development
board of New Passages, Association for
Retarded Citizens of Oakland Country
and a member of Wabeek Country
Club.
Mr. Wert is survived by his wife,
Lynn Ginis Wert; sons and daughter-in-
law, Corey Wert, Raymonde Wert III,
Logan Wert, Grey and Allison Wert;
granddaughter, Caroline Wert; brother,
Robert Wert; sister, Ruth Anne Lehman.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.

LOUIS (LOU) ZACK, 75, formerly of

Southfield of Dallas, died Jan. 31. He
was a member of the United States Air
Force during World War II. He worked
in the men's clothing business as a sales-
man and then became the owner of M
Man Menswear and Mister Z Menswear
Mr. Zack is survived by his beloved
wife of 53 years, Ruth; daughter, Laurie
of Trumbull, Conn., sons and daughters
in-law, Barry and Flora, Michael and
Mindee of Dallas; grandchildren, Adam
Eric., Aaron, Corry; sister and brother-
in-law, Phyllis and Seymour Subar of
West Bloomfield; sisters-in-law and
brother-in-law, Marion and Jerome
Kopleman of Farmington. He was the
beloved son of the late Esek and the late
Rose Zack.
Interment in Dallas. Contributions
