The Torah recognizes that people are intelligent in different ways,
as is evident from the verse, "Educate the child according to his way, so
that even when he is old he will not budge from it" (Proverbs 22:6). The
function of a good education is to enhance a child's natural mode (or
modes) of intelligence and strengthen weaker areas so that the child will
grow into a competent adult who will have the means at his disposal to live
a happy and productive life and hopefully make a significant contribution
to society. The function of a good Jewish education is to give a person
direction and proper moral guidance in life so that his actions will be a
credit to himself or herself, his or her family and to the Jewish people.
Bais Menachem Academy is a Jewish Day School that recognizes
the need to educate each child according to his or her way. We offer a well-
rounded education within a setting of strong Torah values and aspirations.
I am sure that we can provide your children with the best Jewish and sec-
ular education available.
We are now accepting applications for 2001.
