Wisok Cohen, was recently wed
to Dr. Daniel Soyer, son of Jane
and David Soyer of New York
City. Rabbi Ellen Lippmann offi-
ciated at the home of the bride-
groom's parents.
Jocelyn is a graduate of the
University of Michigan and
received a doctorate in United
States history in December 2000
from the University of
Minnesota. Daniel is on leave as
an assistant professor of history at
Fordham University, Bronx. He
graduated from Oberlin College
and received a doctorate in histo-
ry from New York University.
They are editing an anthology of
Yiddish autobiographies by
Jewish immigrants at YIVO
Institute for Jewish Research in
Manhattan. They reside in Brooklyn.
