Interfaith Academy
Coming Up

The National Conference for
Community and Justice Interfaith
Roundtable will present an interfaith lay
academy, featuring theologians from the
Muslim, Christian and Jewish traditions.
On the schedule are "Three Faiths
and Sacred Books," 7 p.m. Thursday,
Jan. 25, at Temple Emanul-El; "Three
Faiths and Salvation," 7 p.m. Thursday,
Feb. 8, at Temple Emanu-El; 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Unity Center in
Bloomfield Hills; 7 p.m. Monday, Feb.
19, at Christ the Good Shepherd in
Lincoln Park. A mosque tour is set for

"Managing Congregational Conflict"
will be offered 5:30 p.m. March 22, at
St. Timothy's United Methodist Church

Dance Classes

Dance classes are being offered at the
Jewish Community Center in West
Bloomfield.

JCC Shows
Documentary Film

Tickets are available for the Jewish
Community Center showing of the film
The Children of Chabannes 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 31, at the JCC in West
Bloomfield.
It is a documentary about the rescue
of Jewish children during World War II.
There will be a brief preview of the
third annual JCC Lenore Marwil Jewish
Film Festival preceding the film.
The evening is co-sponsored by
CHAIM-Children of Holocaust
Survivors Association in Michigan and
Hidden Children and Child Survivors
of Michigan.
Admission is S5 per person. Tickets
are available at the door or by calling the
