Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Alexandra Nicole Gordon will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Friday, Jan. 19, at
Temple Israel. She is
the daughter of
Debra and Dr. James
Gordon and sister of
Max, Jake and
Samuel. Proud
grandparents are
Phyllis and Edwin
Bean and Rhea
Gordon. She is also
the grandchild of the late Norman
Gordon.
Attending West Hills Middle School
in Bloomfield Hills, where she is an
honor student, Allie likes to play bas-
ketball, run track, dance, sing and go
to Camp Tamakwa. Volunteering on an
ongoing basis at the Jewish Association
for Residential Care is a very meaning-
ful mitzvah project and Allie treasures
her special relationship with the many
friends she has made.
