Oak Park Kiwanis, a member of the
Oak Park Cable Commission, a vol-
unteer for the handicapped, a leader
in the Detroit Police reserves and
frequently offered his services at the
Jewish Community .Center of
Metropolitan Detroit.
He is survived by his wife of 59
years, Fran; sons and daughters-in-
law, David and Pam, Keith and
Sherry; five grandchildren; sister
Louise Katz.
Services were held in Mission
Hills, Calif. Condolences may be
sent to the family at 3442 Fayance
Place, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362.

ABRAHAM WEINGROT, 80, of
Farmington Hills, died Jan. 6. He
was the founder and owner of
United Rent-Al and a member of
the Dearborn Heights Chamber of
Commerce.
Mr. Weingrot is survived by his
wife, Shirley Weingrot; sons and
daughters-in-law, Robert and
Cynthia Weingrot of Novi, Steven
and Kelly Weingrot of Plymouth,
Erik Weingrot of Farmington Hills;
daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and
Grant Shafer of Ann Arbor; grand-
children, Stephen, Kevin, Michael,
Heather, Miranda and Mark. He
was the loving father of the late Jack
Weingrot.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
directed to the Juvenile Diabetes
Association or the Holocaust
Memorial Center. Arrangements by
Ira Kaufman Chapel.

HELEN ZEIGER, 84, of
Farmington Hills, died Jan. 1.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Harold and
Patricia Zeiger of Southfield, Robert
and Kiyoe Ise Zeiger of Ann Arbor;
daughter and son-in-law, Linda and
Christopher Bolles of Columbus,
Ohio; sister-in-law, Elaine Muller of
Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren,
Joshua Zeiger, Rachael Bolles, Brian
Bolles. Mrs. Zeiger was the beloved
wife of the late Albert Zeiger.
