In beginning our second season of this publica- tion, we cannot help but be very pleased with the results from 2000. We started out small and have continued to grow every month since our inception in May. I believe this growth is due to a number of reasons. First, a great product, sec- ond, a great staff and third, more importantly, great readers. This is a unique community that cares about one another and enjoys reading about local success stories. Our editorial staff has worked hard to profile various people, events, trends and passions that make this com- munity stand out among all others. We decided that automobiles would be a fitting cover story for this issue with the annual North American International Auto Show just around the corner. Ferrari owners Gary and Enid Goodman were gracious to model for us in the Cauley Ferrari showroom on Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield. The Goodmans own a 355 Spider Ferrari, but will soon trade that auto for a titanium-colored 360 Ferrari. They love the styling and the look of these high-performance automobiles. Thanks again for all the support you've given us. We will contin- ue to produce a product that we hope is worthy of this outstanding community! W Sincerely, Some stores sel designer jewelry. At M.B.
