Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Traci Jessica Grant will celebrate her bat
mitzvah on Friday, Jan. 5, at Temple Shir
Shalom. Traci is the
daughter of Susan and
Mark Grant and the
sister of Adam.
Her grandparents are
Marion and Jay Grant
and the late Florence
and Paul Borock.
Traci is a seventh-
grade honor student
at Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. She enjoys writing stories,
poetry and songs. Her hobbies include
reading and playing tennis. Traci likes
helping others in her role as a conflict
mediator at school.

Adam Paul Greenberg will become a bar
mitzvah at Temple Israel on Friday, Jan.
5. He is the son of Rochelle and Gary
Greenberg and broth-
er of Aaron and Erika.
Happy grandparents
are Sharon and Larry
Greenberg. He is also
the grandson of the
late Charlotte and Leo
Simko.
An honor student
at O.E. Dimckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills,
Adam likes basketball, golf, video games,
collecting sports figures and sports cards.
His favorite mitzvah project was volun-
teering at Hadassah's Ducky Derby.

Samantha Brooke Kelman will celebrate
her bat mitzvah at Congregation Shaarey
Zedek on Friday, Jan. 5. She is the
daughter of Karen and Michael Kelman
of Farmington Hills
and the sister of Justin
and Jack. Proud
grandparents are
Naomi and Jerry
Kelman. She is also
the granddaughter of
the late Rochelle
Blum. Samantha is
the great-granddaugh-
ter of Rae Klempmner.
Samantha is an all-A student at
Warner Middle School in Farmington
Hills. She loves spending time with her
family and friends, snowboarding, play-
ing tennis and soccer and spending sum-
mers at Camp Tamakwa.
For her mitzvah projects, Samantha
loved working with preschool children at
Camp Beth Hayeled and volunteering at
the Danto Family Health Care Center.
She plans to continue volunteering after
her bat mitzvah.
