The Jewish Community Center of
Metropolixan -Detroit will present
another•lecture in its "Digging Up
the Torah: The Impact of Biblical
Archaeology on Modern Judaism"
series 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, at
the JCC in West Bloomfield.
The speaker will be Dr. Arthur
Zannoni, freelance writer, Christian
scholar and consultant in biblical
studies and Christian-Jewish rela-
tions. His topic will be
"Archaeology and Scripture: How
Archaeology Enhances Our
Understanding of Scripture."
Rabbi Norman Roman will intro-
duce the speaker and will give his
own perspective on the topic.
His lecture is co-sponsored by the
JCC and Temple Kol Ami and co-
presented by the Ecumenical
Institute for Jewish-Christian
Studies.

nications/English, language and lit-
erature, Aaronson is attending
Eastern's School of Education. She
served as a counselor at Olin Sang
Ruby Union Institute 'camp, spon-
sored by the Union of American
Hebrew Congregations. She will
return to that program this summer
as a member of the faculty.
