Congregation Beth Ahm in West
Bloomfield appointed Dr. Linda
Bolton youth coordinator.
Bolton, a valedictorian graduate
of Mt. Clemens High School,
attended the University of Michigan
honors program, where she received
a degree in psychology and a mas-
ter's degree in social work. She con-
tinued her education at Michigan
State University, where she received
a degree in medicine and took her
residency in pediatrics at Beaumont
Hospital in Royal Oak.
She has been a practicing pedia-
trician for the past 17 years and has
been named one of the 50 top pedi-
atricians in the Midwest by Time
magazine and has been in the top 10
on the Detroit Free Press list.
In addition, Bolton has served as
president of the Juvenile Diabetes
Foundation and worked at the
Juvenile Court as a substance abuse
counselor. She has served as Great
Lakes president of B'nai B'rith Youth
Organization and B'nai B'rith Girls
and has served on the board of the
Birmingham Hockey Association.
Youth advisers Jeremy Burnstein
and Tammy Kaplinovsky will round
out the staff for the Shabbat youth
programs. Kaplinovsky, together with
Mary Stone Tessler, will supervise the
Torah Time group for first and sec-
ond grades. With Kimberly Feldman,
she will supervise the Pray and Play
group for children ages 2-5.
Junior Congregation for third- to
seventh-graders is supervised by
Burnstein.
