MARY C. GORDON, 92, of
Bloomfield Hills, died Dec. 6. Mrs.
Gordon was a graduate of Wayne State
University Law School in 1931. She
was one of the first female attorneys in
the state of Michigan and practiced
law for 50 years.
During World War I, her mother
formed a girls social group in Windsor,
called Naomi Club. These 25 girls
went on to create charitable and social
events while remaining a close friend-
ship and meeting regularly for over 70
years. Mrs. Gordon was president of
the B'nai B'rith Women's Business and
Professional Chapter, president of the
PTO for the United Hebrew Schools,
an active member of Adat Shalom
Synagogue and of Hadassah.

died Dec. 6. He was the owner of
Screen Printing, a World War II army
veteran, a life member of Shaarey
Zedek and avid stamp and coin collec-
tor; he loved to play golf.
