Bloomfield Hills, died Dec. 2.
She is survived by her sons and
daughter-in-law, David and Susana
Adaskin of Las Vegas, Nev., Alan
Adaskin of Des Plaines, Ill.; daughter
and son-in-law, Judith and Marvin
Dubin of Bloomfield Hills; brother and
sister-in-law, Theodore and Sybil
Goldfield of California; sisters and
brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Albert
Rosen of Farmington Hills, Jean
Goldfield of Minneapolis, Minn.,
Barbara and Sam Press of Southfield;
sisters-in-law, Leah Kash, Bess Adaskin;
grandchildren, Daniel Victor, Shelby
Dubin, Jonathon Adaskin, Judy Ann
Kesner. Mrs. Adaskin was the beloved
wife of the late Saul Adaskin; loving sis-
ter of the late Solly Goldfield; loving

SHIRLEY C. BABICH, 74, of
Farmington Hills, died Nov. 28. She
was a member of the National Council
of Jewish Women and Meals On
Wheels.
Mrs. Babich is survived by her hus-
band, David Babich; sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Leslie Babich of Iowa, Drew
and Wendy Babich of Maryland, Todd
and Kim Babich of Iowa; grandchil-
dren, Matthew, Ryan, Shadie, Brieanna
and Drake Babich. She was the loving
daughter of the late Max and the late
Francis Newman.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

DR. LEWIS DAVID BECKMAN, 60,
of West Bloomfield, died Nov. 27. He
was a teacher at Albany Medical
College and did research at Wayne State
University and the University of Texas.
Dr. Beckman is survived by his son
Christopher Beckman; daughter,
Jennifer Beckman; parents, Irving and
Pauline Beckman of West Bloomfield;
brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and
Judith Beckman of Rhode Island.
