"But then I began to think about ancestry, my mother-in-law, my kids, what story to tell, because cooking is always about memories of smells and places you have been," says Susan of Southfield. "Through our 15 years of marriage, I have experimented and incorporat- ed some of my mother-in-law's recipes and my own mother's, along with my own favorite flavors.
